Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi made history on 28 April, 2023 as he stepped outside the International Space Station with NASA’s Stephen Bowen to do a six-and-half hour spacewalk. He goes down in history as the first Arab astronaut ever to do a spacewalk.
They successfully replaced a communication hardware outside the ISS.
The “Sultan of Space,” as Sultan Al Neyadi 41, is now called at home, was part of SpaceX Crew-6 launched to the ISS on March 2, 2023.
