The second man to set foot on the Moon, Buzz Aldrin, has married his longtime love, Dr Anca Faur.
The wedding took place in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, California, on his 93rd birthday on 20 January, 2023.
He said both of them are as “excited as eloping teenagers” as he beamed with smiles, wearing his Astronaut’s badge.

He was married to Beverly Van Zile from 1975 to 1978 and Lois Driggs Cannon from 1988 to 2012.
His new wife, Dr Anca Faur, 63, was born in Romania and has a PhD in Chemical Engineering.
