The Shenzhou 17 crew of mission commander Tang Hongbo, 48, former fighter pilots Tang Shengjie, 34, and Jiang Xinlin, 35 were launched to Tiangong on 26 October, 2023.
This is the youngest crew to Tiangong.
They were launched atop a Long March-2F rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in northwest China and docked six hours later.
Shenzhou-16 astronauts Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao returned to Earth on October 31, 2023, after six months in Tiangong.
