Nigeria’s Science, Technology and Innovation Expo, STI Expo, held from 14 to 18 March, 2022 in Eagle Square, Abuja.
This year’s theme is “Sustaining National Economic Growth through STI.”
The three winners of the Young Nigeria Scientists’ Competition – Maryam Ogunbayo from Gombe State, Gbolahon Ayinde from Ogun State and Judith Uchendu from Edo State – were presented scholarships at the event.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Expo is an annual event to showcase inventions and innovations in STI in the country.
It started in 2017.
However, the commercialisation of previous discoveries has been a great challenge.
