The Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA, has re-appointed by acclamation Director-General Rafael Mariano Grossi for a second four-year term.
The 35-nation Board re-appointed Grossi by unanimous decision in its meeting on 10 March, 2023.
He will begin his second tenure in early December, 2023 after the General Conference of the IAEA’s 176 Member-States approves the re-appointment when it meets in September.
